The Poppy Field, after Monet SOLD by McAtamney Gallery. This is a remaster of the original. Acrylic on canvas 660 x 810mm including rose gold frame. Monet painted the poppy field near Argenteuil in 1873 when he was living there with his family. The young woman with the sunshade and the child in the foreground is said to be Monet’s wife, Camille and their son Jean.

Spring after Edouard Bisson. This is a remaster 910 x 610 including gold frame. Bisson painted the original in 1905. His painting was large, 1613 x 978mm. He was a French Pre-Raphaelite painter and is best known for his romanticized paintings of women in atmospheric landscapes such as the nymph, Spring. NZ $2,450
