SOLD by McAtamney Gallery – The Poppy Field after Claude Monet. This is a remaster of the original. Acrylic on canvas 660 x 810mm including rose gold frame. Monet painted the poppy field near Argenteuil in 1873 when he was living there with his family. The young woman with the sunshade and the child in the foreground is said to be Monet’s wife, Camille and their son Jean.
